Our adventures began in South Haven, Mi. The entire new bunch was there. It was scary, exciting, and sometimes even kinda poopy, but all things combined made for a really good trip! We had sunburns, bug bites, and a full out movie rotation. There was enough laundry to make washers and dryers for miles around shudder.
The best parts of the trip were...
1. Fireworks in South Haven - we all agreed that they way surpassed those in Chicago!
2. Michigan Adventure theme park - The Thunderhawk RULES!
3. Swimming in Lake Michigan - Riding the waves and Re-matches fighting for first place honors here!
4. Collecting rocks and shells and more...We brought home nets, dead bugs...hmmm and lots of dirty feet every day!
5. Discovering that we had two more girls than we had originally believed! Too hilarious really! Bailey, Max, Philip and Sophie were the ultimate quick change artists. You can see for yourself how lovely the boys are! :)
6. The Chicago trip - Our room was absolutely beautiful with a view of Lake Mi in the distance. Our fav's in Chicago were the Hancock tower, and the Lego store. We took a boat ride around the lake that put Sophie to sleep. ( Not that she was sleeping - at least if you ask her for her opinion ;) The Suburban took us on our Chicago adventure, and Simone and Sophie decided that a few winks before our arrival might be a good idea!
Our last day at the Lincoln house was a bit sad - vacation was over!
Next up...moving toward our next adventure...Denmark.
